Cali Swag District or New Boyz

Cali Swag District and New Boyz are both Hip hop and R&B music groups but New Boyz was first to make a single. New Boyz consists of Earl "BenJ" Benjamin and Dominic "Legacy" Thomas while Cali Swag District is made up of Big Wy and Dairold Potts. Both music groups brought new dance moves like for New Boyz, jerkin' was made and for Cali Swag, the "dougie" came into the mix. Jerkin' was invented because of the song "You're a jerk" and Dougie was named because of the groups' first single, "Teach me how to dougie." Cali Swag District is currently signed to Capital Records' Checkmate Entertainment Imprint. New Boyz is signed Shotty and Asylum Records. Carmelo Anthony Denies Multi Trade

The trade proposal between the Denver Nuggets, New Jersey Nets, Charlotte Bobcats, and the Utah Jazz was officially denied Tuesday morning. If accepted, Carmelo would go to the NJ Nets in return for Andrei Kirilenko of the Jazz, Derrick Favors of the Nets, and a first round pick for Carmelo. The Nuggets are driven not to let Carmelo go, but he has not yet signed a contract extension for 3 years and $64.7 million that was given to him. Carmelo can become a free agent next year if he denies the offer. He has been a Nugget for seven years and never once changed his jersey number. Right now, he is under a contract for $17.15 million. If he stays, he will be getting $18.52 million as well as 3 more years to be a Denver Nugget. In my opinion, Carmelo should sign the contract and be a Nugget. Abraham Lincoln National hero

National Leader

When I think of a hero, I think of Abraham Lincoln. Abraham was born Fabruary 12th, 1809 and lived until he was assainated on April 15th, 1865. He was the 16th president and is the penny. Abe is the father of four children and is very affecionate although absent a lot. Abe voted for the right of blacks and started a movement during the civil war. He helped in many ways but not everyone liked him including John Wilkes Booth. John was upset with Abraham so he assainated him. The original plan was to kidnap him then give him back in exchange for confederate prisoners but he was furios at him so he shot him. Abraham's death was unfortunate but he started a movement which lasted until Martin Luther King Jr. came and stopped racism. Abraham Lincoln will be remembered for his brave attitude. Braylon Edwards Arrested





The NY Jets' wide reciever has been arrested for drinking and driving. Braylon Edwards was caught early tuesday morning. With a game a against the Miami Dolphins this sunday, it is uncertain he will play or not. Braylon was drafted from the Cleveland Browns at 2005 from Michigan. Then, was traded to the Jets for Chansi Stuckey. Edwards was pulled over because of his tinted windows but the officer smelled substances in his Braylon's Range Rover. My favorite basketball team would have to be the Chicago Bulls. I feel that the Bulls revolutionized the NBA because of their versatile and quick players such as Joakim Noah, Derrick Rose, and even Michael Jordan. Derrick Rose is my favorite player. He is a point guard out of Memphis. Derrick even won Rookie of the Year for 2008. Derrick is in the starting lineup and his jersey number is 1.
So far, the Bulls won 6 championships all in the 90's. With the addition of 2-time all star, Carlos Boozer, the Chicago Bulls are on their way to a seventh NBA championship.
