San Diego Chargers Elecutrute And Run The National Football League
Out of all 32 NFL teams, the San Diego Chargers are my favorite no questions asked. They made the prestigious playoffs but never tasted an even more honored championship or go to the Super Bowl more than once. Although they aren't the best, I still believe they can be able to wear a Super Bowl ring, but I never felt that way last year. After making the playoffs at a 13-3 record and even skipping the wild card round, they made it straight to the first round. For them to even reach the faraway championship, the New York Jets blasted into their lightning bolt, proving hard to overcome. The final score was 14-17, but it wasn't who you thought would win.
The Chargers hosted the game at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. Norv Turner coached the static charges we call players to get a total of two touchdowns and two following extra points, but missed two 3-point field goals by kicker Nate Kaeding while Rex Ryan led his team to blast sky high to two touchdowns as well as two following extra points and a 3-point field goal. The score 14-17 Jets, but Chargers were still had hope. Thumb-biting and nervousness filled the charged up fans, players, and espically myself. To show my colors, I wore my LaDanian Tomlinson jersey praying San Diego could zap the Jets out of the sky and go to Idianapolis to demolish the Colts. Unfortunately, the Colts got lucky because the Chargers failed to defeat the Jets. Final score, 14-17 Jets.
I don't know what happened. The Chargers were on a 7-game win streak in the regular season, had one of the best kickers, a monster quaterback, and the best tight end in the league today. Not knowing how to react, I sunk myself into an utter depression. The only teams that beated the Chargers were probably hosting the game, but the Chargers hosted this game against the east coast Jets. This was their chance to become legends. Last year was one of their best seasons, but since their running back, LT(LaDanian Tomlinson) moved to the Jets because of the free agency system, wide reciever Vincent Jackson was suspended for breaking NFL policies, and many injuries occured San Diego may not be as successful as last season, but I still have faith in them.
This sickening loss to NY, made me realize not all my favorite teams will win every game. Whether they have good days and sometimes bad, the Chargers will now and forever be my favorite team. The San Diego Chargers are my favorite team, but I want to know whose you're favorite team. Leave a comment below telling me who you're favorite NFL team is and why.
