It was a sunny and gorgeous day at my backyard as it is all the time, so I decided to gather my friend David and his brother to play various sports as various as my fluid imagination. After playing a grueling game of baseball, we decided to play the quick and attention needing running bases. Although I wasn't very fond of this game, it looked as fun as flying through the midst of air with winds at 70 miles per hour. This game consists of running from place to place avoiding the quick as flash ball.
At this specific time, I was sprinting swiftly to the base which is the fence seperating my backyard with my neighbors. Stupidly, I put my knees out instead of the more protected inside. My knees digged deep into the bottom of the fence, with a sting like an annoyed bee just waiting to execute on the open attack. Thriving in pain, my knee bled more than a cut wrist. Thinking of how to tell my mom, David and his bother scampered with a high velocity. My mom who was a nurse herself, treated the wound as if it was a cut from a paper. For the next couple of weeks, I would recover with relaxation, and comfortable sleep.
A month later, my knee was at its fullest breaking winds, and cutting air with no regrets if another injury occured. I learned to be more careful and aware of my surroundings because of this horrid incident. This taught me those life-long lesson by leaving a scar on my knee.
