Abraham Lincoln National hero

When I think of a hero, I think of Abraham Lincoln. Abraham was born Fabruary 12th, 1809 and lived until he was assainated on April 15th, 1865. He was the 16th president and is the penny. Abe is the father of four children and is very affecionate although absent a lot. Abe voted for the right of blacks and started a movement during the civil war. He helped in many ways but not everyone liked him including John Wilkes Booth. John was upset with Abraham so he assainated him. The original plan was to kidnap him then give him back in exchange for confederate prisoners but he was furios at him so he shot him. Abraham's death was unfortunate but he started a movement which lasted until Martin Luther King Jr. came and stopped racism. Abraham Lincoln will be remembered for his brave attitude.
